Development board features three microcontrollers with integrated NFC and BLE

Available now from RS Components, the Primo is the first Arduino board featuring a Nordic nRF52 processor. The device has integrated NFC and BLE. The Primo also has an integrated Espressif ESP8266 to handle the WiFi connectivity. There are several options for powering this board; micro-USB, via the Vin pin or using its two-pin JST-PH battery connector. The board includes a Li-ion/Li-Po battery charging circuit and a battery charge indicator on the base of the board. The Primo has three microcontrollers - the Nordic nRF52832, the ST Micro STM32f103 for debugging and programming, and the Espressif ESP8266 for WiFi and internet connectivity.
