With a growing demand for support in the eDP interface standard, RDS has added the Tianma NL192108AC18-01D 15.6” display model, with an eDP interface.
eDP is a high-speed serial interface standard which directly connects the LCD module and the graphics processing board, to enable a compact design. In addition to saving the space required for the driver board, eDP has a higher transmission speed than a conventional LVDS interface, making it popular in gaming and audio applications. It is also becoming increasingly popular in industrial display applications, such as automation and monitoring, as it results in a compact outline for high resolution density displays.
The panel is a high resolution (1920 x 1080) display, providing 400cd/m², with a contrast ratio of 750:1 and wide viewing angles. The ultra-slim Super Fine TFT display panel has dimensions of 363.8mm x 215.9mm x 6.3mm and weighs 610g.
