TTI Europe offers the PSJ2/PSL2 (two terminals) and PSG4/PSF4 (four terminals) series power shunts from KOA which have been recently added to the PS series. The devices have been constructed using a solid metal alloy resistance element with copper terminals to provide superior corrosion and heat resistance, as well as excellent pulse resistance and long-term stability. The products are ideal for accurate high current sensing up to 244A (PSJ2; 0.2mOhm; 12W) in automotive, industrial and pulse applications.
The rated power dissipation of the devices is 10W for 0.5mOhm versions and 8W for 1mOhm types at a maximum +75C terminal part temperature. The resistors feature a resistance tolerance of ±1% and a TCR of ±50/±75pm/K. The operating temperature range is extremely wide (-65C up to +175C). All products are fully RoHS compliant as well as AEC-Q200 qualified.
