Dengrove Electronic Components can offer power supplies for small IoT devices and industrial controls, with the launch of the RECOM RAC05-K series of highly integrated 5W AC/DC converters.
Housed in a 25.4mm x 25.4mm fully encapsulated lightweight plastic case, and with significant features such as short-circuit and over-voltage protection built in, the modules can fit within tight spaces. They also meet EN55032 class-B specifications without needing external filtering components. The modules are built to withstand harsh industrial or outdoor environments, and can operate from -25C up to 50C at full load, or 70C with derating.
With very low no-load consumption of 75mW and high light-load efficiency, the series is ideal for powering devices like wireless sensors or communication modules that are constantly on, with short periods of peak activity. Available with a single output voltage of 3.3V, 5V, 12V, 15V or 24V, they can also be used to data gateways, operate relays or building-automation nodes. The modules offer a 60ms hold-up time at 230VAC input, to control a stable output even if the AC-line quality varies.
The RAC05-K series is fully certified to UL/IEC/EN60950-1 and UL/IEC/EN62368-1 with CB reports, CE marked, and covered by a three-year manufacturer’s warranty.
