Axial through hole fixed resistor suitable for harsh environments

The new Welwyn W20 Series Axial Through Hole Fixed Resistor offering 390mOhms ±5% 3W ±200ppm/C is now available from RS Components. As there is a maximum temperature to which the wire can rise through an overload, if the resistor is already dissipating heat, then the pulse energy applied should be less than that allowed by the graph. This device is CECC approved and suitable for harsh environments. It features an impervious lead-free vitreous enamel coating and offers overload characteristics ideal for protection circuits. The device has high stability and reliability with high power dissipation for its size.
