DC-DC converters designed for use in railway applications

Murata is introducing its latest encapsulated DC-DC converters designed specifically for use in railway applications. The converters are available now from TTI Europe. The IR series (IRH and IRQ series) provides market-leading power conversion efficiency in an industry-standard half/quarter brick pinout, allowing system designers to choose the most effective solution for cooling and power delivery. The IRQ series allows high output current (up to 20A), delivers fixed DC output voltage up to 100W (24V @ 4.2A) and has wide range inputs of 57.6V to 160V DC (110V nominal). The IRH series offers high output current (up to 30A), delivers fixed DC output voltage up to 150W (5V @ 30A) and has wide range inputs of 57.6V to 160V DC (110V nominal).
