Mouser has signed a global distribution agreement with Onion Corporation. The agreement enables the company to distribute the Omega2+ device, accessories and kits perfect for applications such as coding education, home automation, robotics, Wi-Fi media servers, and networking.
The product line revolves round the Omega2+, an easy-to-use, expandable IoT computer which is packed with a MicroSD card slot, built-in Wi-Fi connectivity, and a powerful 580MHz MIPS processor. Only a fraction of the size of other single board computers, the device is a full computer with a Linux operating system, 128mb of DDR2 memory and 32mb of flash storage. The device also offers 15 GPIO, two PWM, and two UART interfaces.
The company also now stocks a variety of docks and expansion boards, which provide additional functionality to the Omega2+ board.
