Inspect metal components faster with new inverted metallurgical microscope

25-01-2018 | Olympus | Test & Measurement

Olympus’ new GX53 inverted metallurgical microscope features MIX observation for clear imaging of structures and surface features, an LED light source for true-to-life images with consistent colour temperature, and coded hardware enabling faster inspections and improved productivity. The device is designed for the observation and inspection of metal components and features an LED light source for ultra-long life and low power consumption. The microscope also includes the latest version of OLYMPUS Stream image analysis software for improved reporting and observation capabilities. When used with the Stream software, the device’s coded hardware can save observation settings for simple recall. This enhances user productivity and helps inspections by giving it easy to replicate, frequently used observation settings or the settings of other users.
