Connector plugs are resistant to oils, dust and saltwater

The new Bulgin Buccaneer Series, three-pole cable-mount connector plugs are available from RS Components. The connectors are resistant to dust, oils and saltwater making them suitable for use in marine, process control and many industrial applications. Contacts for nine-way connectors are supplied with the product and are crimp termination only. Two to seven-way connectors have screw terminating contacts. All PCB and screw terminal contacts are supplied pre-loaded. The cap, which can be ordered separately, maintains sealing integrity when mated pairs are uncoupled. It also acts as a tool to aid the removal and refitting of inserts during assembly. The cable plugs connect to in-line or chassis sockets, and cable sockets connect with in-line or chassis plugs.
