Industrial connectors distribute high currents with less heat

Mouser now stocks the Amphe-PD series connection system from Amphenol Industrial. Designed to connect wire-to-board, wire-to-wire, and busbar terminations, the series distributes higher currents with less heat than similar-sized connectors. The series features RADSOK technology for higher amperage, lower t-rise, less resistance and lower mating forces. The RADSOK terminal highlights a stamped hyperbolic contact with multiple beams that give high reliability, optimal current carrying performance, and longer cycle life in a small footprint. The connectors are offered in a two-position, 3.6mm RADSOK rated at 70A, or two-position 5.7mm version able to carry 120A continuously. The series produces higher amperage without wasting precious space, enabling a compact solution for datacom applications, requiring small, yet powerful connectors.
