RS Components – New eval board supports up to 100W of power supply using USB Type-C connectors

Available from RS Components is ROHM's BM92A21MWV-EVK-001 series which integrates their USBPD controller IC supporting the USB Type-C Rev1.1 and USBPD Rev2.0 standards for connecting with USB Type-C devices. The primary launch consists of six boards in a mix of both transmitter and receiver types to satisfy the requirements of a variety of applications. Users can link receiver and transmitter boards to easily achieve and evaluate USBPD operation. The board is compatible with dead battery, so it can be operated without power supply.
