Analog Devices ADMV10x Converters cover 12.6GHz to 24GHz, GaAs, MMIC, I/Q Downconverters/Upconverters all optimised for point-to-point microwave radio designs.
The converters serve as a much smaller alternative to hybrid-style, SSB/DSB upconverter/downconverter assemblies. By enabling the use of surface-mount manufacturing assemblies, the converters remove the requirement for wire bonding. The converters are offered in a compact, thermally enhanced, 4.9mm x 4.9mm LCC package and operate over the -40C to +85C temperature range.
Typical applications include point-to-point microwave radios; radars and electronic defence systems; instrumentation and automatic test equipment; and satellite communications.
