New toggle and hook latches offer quick and convenient spring closure

13-08-2018 | Emka | Subs & Systems

Toggle latches, over-centre catches, wire toggles, spring catches and so on are a common quick action method of closure for packing of equipment or temporary fitting of masks/jigs etc. EMKA UK has a comprehensive range for specialist OEMs, installers, manufacturers and assemblers who are familiar with their range of hinges, locks, swinghandles and gasket profiles. The Program 6000 covers both zinc-plated, steel and stainless steel in wire loop, rigid wire and solid link designs. Spring-loaded latches are especially vibration compliant allowing a conforming tension where abnormal movement is encountered such as in transit, while others are adjustable or have special locking mechanisms. 6000 series toggle latches can be installed with in-line or right-angled hook/catch plates to suit the orientation of the housing.
