Controllable LED luminaires provide excellent energy savings

New High Bay luminaires for warehouses, factories and logistics centres, from Ledvance offer excellent energy savings. The LED luminaires not only give inherently high luminous efficiency but are also controllable via DALI allowing light levels to be adjusted according to need. The company's smart High Bay DALI luminaires offer direct energy savings of up to 90% compared to conventional high bay luminaires. Unlike mercury vapour and metal halide lamps, they are also dimmable and switch on and off instantly, enabling further energy savings to be realised through daylight and occupancy-dependent operation. The integral DALI-2 interface enables the luminaires to be easily connected to popular presence and light level sensors. These devices are an excellent replacement for luminaires with mercury vapour or metal halide lamps in logistics halls, warehouses and other industrial applications as well as high ceiling environments such as airports, shopping malls and commercial buildings.
