Mouser is now offering the Qorvo QPF4588 Wi-Fi Module. This device is an integrated Wi-Fi Front-End Module (FEM) specifically designed for Wi-Fi 802.11ax systems. This FEM operates at 5150MHz to 5925MHz frequency range. The Wi-Fi module integrates a 5GHz Power Amplifier (PA), a regulator, SP2T Switch, a bypassable LNA, and a coupler. This Wi-Fi FEM focuses performance on optimising PA for 5V operation that decreases power consumption and sustains high linear output with leading-edge throughput. The module combines power detection with an integrated RF power detector and a DC power detector. This FEM provides integrated die level filtering for second and third harmonics with 2.4GHz rejection for DBDC operation.
The Wi-Fi module comes in a compact form factor and integrated matching that minimises layout area. The Wi-Fi front-end module exhibits 24-pin structure and is offered in 5mm x 3mm QFN package. Typical applications include wireless routers, customer premise equipment, access points, and the IoT.
