New benchmark for small three-phase book style EMC filter

EMC filter solutions for three-phase applications are essential elements which add significantly to compliance with the EMC directive and enhance customers’ system reliability and stability. With the launch of the new FN 3287 and FN 3288 series, the company offers their most compact and modern solution. This next generation product is based upon the latest component technology within an optimised package which had years of application specific experience and design knowhow to produce. These filters are not only optimised to best serve the demands of machine tool and machinery equipment but will find wider application areas. When created with suitably sized EMC filters during the start of the design-in phase, machines and installations can be optimised to satisfy the EMC standards from the beginning. These latest Schaffner filters are based on a new design structure, resulting in a significant footprint reduction and have their connection terminals integrated within the filter enclosure. The new series are available with 11 current ratings from 10 to 160A. Both series are available for 480VAC and the FN 3288 series also for 690VAC and IT network applications. All models are CE, UL and ENEC approved and RoHS compliant.
