Now available from RDS is the new Rugged RTC 7” WXGA TFT LCD Tablet. This ARM-based Android tablet has a Rockchip RK3288 1.6 GHz Quad Core Processor and 2GB SDRAM DDR3L as well as MIL-STD 810G specs. The panel is a PCAP multi-touch with Gorilla Glass, and it also has extended swappable batteries. Heat and cold resistant, shock and drop resistant and water resistant up to IP65, this tablet is ideal for system integrators looking for a versatile, rugged display. A selection of modules are available such as COM ports, Ethernet port and a module with 1D/2D barcode scanner. An extra base module is also available with a magnetic strip and/or smart card reader making it ideal for electronic ticketing, stocktaking, POS systems, mobile HMI, and so much more.
