Amphenol RF has released further SMA connectors optimised for Low Loss 100 and 100A cable which offer improved grounding to secure consistent electrical performance from DC to 12.4GHz.
Low Loss cables offer enhanced shielding with a bonded foil construction securing 100% coverage. These connectors offer a nominal impedance of 50Ohms and provide low return loss from DC to 12.4GHz.
The new SMA connectors are offered in right angle bulkhead jack and right angle plug configurations. Both designs provide a crimp termination, enabling for quick and secure assembly, and need standard hex crimp tooling. The redesigned connectors give consistent electrical performance at high frequencies and offer enhanced grounding for more stable RF performance.
