Micropower isolated flyback converters for electric vehicles and isolated off-line power supplies

Linear Technology/Analog Devices LT8316 Micropower Isolated No-Opto Flyback Converters sample output voltage from isolated flyback waveforms that occur on third-winding transformers. The 600VIN controllers' quasi-resonant boundary mode operation enhances load regulation, lessens transformer size, and sustains high efficiency. The devices operate from a broad range of input supply voltages and can produce up to 100W of power. The controllers are offered in a thermally enhanced 20-pin TSSOP with four pins removed for high-voltage spacing.

Applications include electric vehicles, and isolated off-line housekeeping power supplies comprisingisolated telecom, medical power supplies, isolated off-line housekeeping power supplies, battery stacks, and multi-output isolated power supplies for inverter gate drives.
