Charger evaluation module is a complete charger package

Texas Instruments bq25887EVM Charger Evaluation Module (EVM) is a comprehensive charger module for evaluating the bq25887, an I2C controlled, 2s battery NVDC charger in the QFN package. Charging two-cell, 8.4V battery from a legacy 5V USB port needs a boost charger.

The device is a highly integrated 2A boosting, 1.5MHz switch-mode battery charge management with cell balancing for 2s Li-ion and Li-polymer battery. The I2C serial interface with charging and cell balancing settings provides a truly flexible solution for the device. OTG buck operation enables the input port to supply power from the battery.

This evaluation module does not include the EV2400 interface board.
