ADC plug-in module platform for evaluating performance of SAR ADC

Texas Instruments BOOSTXL-ADS7142-Q1 ADC BoosterPack Plug-In Module is a platform for evaluating the performance of the ADS7142-Q1. The ADS7142-Q1 is a SAR ADC, which is a nanopower, dual-channel, sensor monitor device. The evaluation kit comprises the ADS7142-Q1 BoosterPack plug-in module, which is intended to showcase various modes of operation of the device.

The kit includes all hardware and software needed for diagnostic testing, as well as accurate performance evaluation of the device. The module is USB powered, so no external power supply required. The device pairs with the MSP-EXP432E401Y LaunchPad development kit, which offers a convenient communication interface to the ADS7142-Q1 over a USB for power delivery, as well as a digital interface. Easy-to-use evaluation software for Microsoft Windows 7/8/10 64-bit operating systems is provided.
