TRUMPower has a new GaN FET TTG200 power adapter series aimed at industrial and ITE applications needing efficient electrical power conversion in a compact form factor. With an average efficiency of 91-93%, the 200W power adapter satisfies the latest global energy efficiency standards for external supplies offering compliance to DoE Level VI, while providing a very low no-load power consumption of 0.15W max.

The power adapter is supplied in a compact 5.91" (L) x 2.13" (W) x 1.3" (H) enclosure with an IEC 320/C8 AC inlet or a 6.34" (L) x 2.13" (W) x 1.3" (H) case with an IEC 320/C14 AC inlet. The power supply has a wide range of eight standard single output voltages between 12 to 56VDC. The series works with a universal input range of 100 to 240VAC and operating temperatures between 0C to +70C ambient, while derating linearly from 100% load at +40C to 50% load at +60C (for the 12V output model) and from 100% load at +40C to 50% load at 70C (for the 18V-56V models). It has a high power density of 12.5W/in3. The units are stable with 300,000 hours minimum MTBF at 25C ambient, calculated per Telcordia SR-332.

The TTG200 series carries the CE marking, is RoHS compliant, and is approved by UL/cUL and TUV to the latest ITE standards, including IEC/EN/UL 62368-1:2014 and IEC/EN/UL 60950-1 2nd edition. The power adapter complies with EMC and immunity standards incorporating EN 55032, CISPR 32/FCC, VCCI class B (conducted and radiated emissions), EN 61000-3-2, EN 61000-3-3, EN 61000-4-2, EN 61000-4-3, EN 61000-4-4, EN 61000-4-5, EN 61000-4-6, EN 61000-4-8, EN 61000-4-11. It also meets energy star 2.0, ErP stage 2, CoC tier 2, NRCan and GEMS level VI standards.
