New series of embedded switch mode power supply SMPS is medical-approved

The Artesyn Embedded Technologies LCC600 series of fully enclosed conduction-cooled AC/DC power supplies incorporate four models, providing main output voltages of 12V, 28V, 36V or 48V. The series is available now from RS Components.

Each model also provides a 5VDC standby output that can supply up to 1.5A. Rated at 600W, these power supplies include a thermal baseplate and can deliver full output power over a broad operating temperature range of -40C to 85C.

For maximum applications flexibility, the main output is adjustable. The 48V model, for example, can be adjusted from 44V to 54V and has a maximum current rating of 12.5A.
