Solder paste offers outstanding humidity resistance and is water-washable

LOCTITE Game Changer Solder Paste provides a 15µm to 45µm powder particle size distribution and Pb-free soldering. The paste, available now from Mouser, is water-washable and is specially formulated to offer excellent humidity resistance. The series is formulated so residues can be cleaned with deionised water and is ideal for fine pitch, high-speed printing up to 150mms-1. The fully halide and halogen-free formulation joins the properties of high-activity flux performance and temperature stability. Benefits of the 3W solder paste incorporate improved cleanability, improved reflow, and improved paste management.

The solder paste series is no-clean and created to give added long term stability over an extensive range of temperature conditions. This series exhibits exceptional solderability when reflowed in both air and nitrogen over a broad range of challenging surface finishes. The paste is excellent for Pb-free soldering and offers 24-hour abandon times, stabilised and consistent paste-transfer efficiency, and significant decreases in solder-related defects. The series is stable at 26.5C for one year and at temperatures of up to 40C for one month, making this solder paste a true game-changer.
