MCUs ideal for consumer and audio applications

NXP Semiconductors i.MX RT600 MCUs are dual-core microcontrollers with 32-bit CortexM33 and Xtensa HiFi4 audio DSP CPUs. The device is available now from Mouser.

The Cortex-M33 CPU arrives with two hardware coprocessors that give enhanced performance for an array of complex algorithms. These MCUs feature up to 4.5MB SRAM, FlexSPI with cache, and dynamic decryption. The MCUs use high-speed USB device/host + PHY, 12-bit 1Msamples/ADC, analog comparator, and PUF key generation. These MCUs enable the CPU to function at frequencies up to 300MHz and the HiFi4 DSP to run at frequencies up to 600MHz.

The MCUs are ideal for consumer and audio applications, including Edge computing: Voice recognition consumer electronics, voice-enabled IoT devices; and smart home: Audio subsystems.
