Evaluation module for a cascaded imaging radar system

Texas Instruments MMWCAS-DSP-EVM Evaluation Module utilises the TDA2x high performance, multimedia application processor based on enhanced OMAP architecture implemented with 28nm technology. The EVM provides a processing foundation for a cascaded imaging radar system. Cascade radar devices are able to support front, long-range radar, beamforming applications, as well as corner and side-cascade radar and sensor fusion systems. The EVM provides the design materials to produce a functioning software evaluation platform for developing and testing ADAS.

The EVM is supported by standard mmWave tools and software, including mmWave Studio, as well as the processor SDK for TDAx ADAS SoCs. Proper evaluation of the EVM, needs one other board, the mmWave Cascaded Imaging Radar RF Evaluation Module, which is available separately.
