Humidity and temperature probe with digital interface

The EE072 by E+E Elektronik provides a high accuracy humidity and temperature probe for the exacting process and climate control tasks. The probe can be employed in agriculture and livestock farming, the food and pharmaceutical industries or in clean rooms. The digital interface with the Modbus RTU or CANopen communication protocol aids the design-in of the device.

The robust IP65 stainless steel or polycarbonate enclosure and multiple filter caps make the EE072 a versatile sensing probe with a wide temperature range of -40C to 80C (-40F to 76F). The excellent temperature compensation and configurable pressure compensation guarantee high measuring accuracy of up to ±1.3% RH and ±0.1C.

The E+E Sensor-Coating shields the humidity sensing element against corrosive and electrically conductive contamination. This assures excellent long-term stability, even in severe environments. In combination with the rugged sensing head and the encapsulated measuring electronics, the device is ideal for especially demanding measuring tasks.

The digital sensing probe is offered with an RS485 interface, and the Modbus RTU protocol or a CAN interface with the CANopen protocol. The two standardised communication protocols enable the direct integration of the device into the control systems generally employed in the industrial sector. Also, the industry-standard M12x1 connecting plug provides for fast electrical system integration.

The probe not only measures relative humidity and temperature, but it also calculates all humidity related parameters including dew point, frost point or wet bulb temperature, etc.


The sensing probe can be simply configured with the aid of an optional adapter and the free configuration software.
