High-performance compact LEDs offer a wide beam angle

OSRAM Opto Semiconductors TOPLED E3014 Compact LEDs, available now from Mouser, provide a wide beam angle with a compact format of 3mm x 1.4mm giving a high system-level performance. The LEDs are packaged in a white SMT package with coloured silicone resin and offering a 120-degree viewing angle. The device components are extremely small LEDs for screen backlighting and excellent for injecting in light guides for homogeneous illumination applications.

The LEDs offer a 0.7mm low profile height. The device uses InGaN on Sapphire chip technology and meets IB corrosion robustness class.

Typical areas of use include industrial illumination, screen backlighting, white goods, gaming, amusement, and gambling applications.
