Full HD GMSL2 colour global shutter camera with IP67 enclosure

e-con Systems has launched STURDeCAM25, a Full HD GMSL2 colour global shutter camera with an IP67 enclosure that protects dust and water. It is the latest introduction in e-con Systems' STURDeCAM series characteried by products with IP-rated rugged enclosures.

The device is a multi-camera solution based on the AR0234CS sensor from ON Semiconductor, which can integrate up to six cameras. It comes with an onboard ISP, tuned to accomplish the best quality image output from the sensor. This camera's global shutter efficiency enables it to capture sharp images of moving objects with no shutter artefacts. Its large pixel size of 3µm and high SNR help produce extremely clear and sharp images with less noise even in challenging lighting conditions. The IP67 enclosure of this camera makes it ideal for use in harsh industrial conditions by protecting it from water, dust, temperature variations, as well as shocks and vibrations.

It also comes with the GMSL2 interface making it able to reliably transmit video data using coaxial cables up to a distance of 15m with very low latency. Also, this camera can stream uncompressed video data at 120fps, which helps to decrease motion blur.

A colour global shutter, IP67 enclosure, GMSL2 interface, multi-synchronisation support, and high-performance ISP make this camera ideal for smart traffic systems, patrol robots, robotic arms, and delivery goods-to-person robots, agricultural trucks, and agricultural robots.
