RS Components has launched an interactive digital motor control configurator, developed in partnership with Schneider Electric.
The Ask the Expert digital motor control configurator is an intuitive graphics-based product selection tool that assists automation engineers in configuring motor control systems swiftly and easily. A talking avatar called Stan guides engineers via a simple stepwise process of inputting required parameters, such as power supply voltage, motor power and contactor coil voltage. It then presents matching product options that enable engineers to choose a full system selection, incorporating relevant inverter drives, contactors and motor starters.
