Foremost Electronics now offers the latest addition to Icotek’s range of cable entry plates. The KEL-FA range is a compact system to route and seal any combination of pre-terminated cables, conduits or pneumatic hoses utilising its KT series grommets.
No tools are needed for assembly – once the entry frame is populated with grommets and cables, the cover is put on, and the two clamping levers are locked with the lower part by pressing them down. The twist-proof construction of the KEL-FA facilitates intuitive assembly, routing and sealing to IP54 for cable diameters from 1mm to 35mm. The KEL-FA frames precisely match the cut-out dimensions for 10-, 16- and 24-pin standard industrial connectors and can be screw-mounted or snapped into a KEL-SNAP frame.
The split multi-cable entry frames offer integrated sealing, very high cable density with multi-hole grommets, very high strain relief, high flexibility with a broad assortment of grommet options and the IMAS-CONNECT system. Retrofits, repairs, and maintenance can be done considerably more easily and quickly with cable entry. As connectors do not need to be removed for assembly warranty on pre-terminated, cables remain intact.
Key specifications include IP rating (EN 60529) of IP54, flame resistance class UL94-V0, self-extinguishing, polyamide material, operating temperature -40C to 140C, UV-resistant, silicone-free, halogen-free and screw mounting.
