Qorvo QPL1821 75-Ohm CATV Amplifier, available now from Mouser, is an ultra-linear GaAs pHEMT differential RF amplifier providing up to 19dB of flat gain with very low distortion. The QPL1821 offers a 50MHz to 1800MHz frequency range providing an excellent solution for Broadband CATV DOCSIS 4.0 applications, including nodes, amplifiers, remote PHY devices, and FTTH, home gateways, and cable modems. The device is powered by a single 5V supply at 260mA, delivering an output of 63dBmV TCP at a MER of 45dB.

The amplifier is provided in a compact, 12-pin 5mm x 5mm laminate module ideal for space-constrained designs. The device offers an operating temperature from -40C to +100C and is lead-free, halogen-free, and RoHS compliant.

Typical applications include mid and driver stage in 1.8GHz CATV amplifiers for DOCSIS 4.0; mid and driver stage in 1.8GHz CATV nodes for DOCSIS 4.0; DOCSIS 4.0 remote PHY devices; and DOCSIS 4.0 CPE equipment.

The company also offer the Qorvo QPL1821EVB-01 evaluation board, a demonstration and development platform for the amplifier.
