Advanced signal testing and device characterisation solutions at EuMW 2022

12-09-2022 | Anritsu | Test & Measurement

Anritsu is attending the European Microwave Exhibition, showing its most advanced testing solutions for signal generation and analysis. Its strong innovation culture leads to new measurement methods that enable developers to achieve both goals.

The company will spotlight its overall VNA market leadership, showcasing its advanced ME7838G 70kHz to 220GHz single sweep, two-port VectorStar system together with an MPI TS200 probe station that is distinctive for its capacity to make precise and repeatable on-wafer measurements. The system offers high performance in a compact mmWave module. This enables the 220GHz probe to connect directly to the mmWave module for accurate, stable on-wafer measurements, bypassing the limitations of threaded connectors.

Further, the ShockLine ME7868A two-port distributed modular VNA enabled with PhaseLync technology, paired with the Millibox hardware, is the world’s first two-port VNA solution to offer guaranteed performance from 1MHz to 43.5GHz. This solution simplifies long-distance S-parameter measurements (2m/5m/25m up to 200m), such as OTA measurements in large chambers, large vehicle cable/antenna testing, and outdoor antenna test range measurements.

From design to test, it has partnered with Anapico AG to devise a comprehensive offering of RF and microwave solutions devoted to Quantum Computing - from qubits design to final deployment.

The Rubidium high-performance analog signal generator provides excellent overall utility and long-term value in various commercial and defence/aerospace measurement applications. It produces unmatched spectral purity, the best phase noise in the market (-140dBc/Hz at 10GHz, 10kHz offset), superior atomic grade stability compared to conventional OCXOs, and a broad frequency coverage between 9kHz and 43. GHz.

Potential breaches of regulations, wrong calibration/settings of transmitting equipment, illegal transmitters and jammers in the spectrum field can now be monitored and measured utilising an airborne solution. Its booth will display a solution combining the Colibrex AMU drone with the Spectrum Master MS2760A, allowing up to 15 minutes of continuous airborne measurements up to 50GHz.

European Microwave Exhibition, booth B22 on 27th to 29th September 2022.
