Mouser now ships the FlexPIFA 2dBi and FlexPIFA 3dBi antennas with MHF1/U.FL cables from Laird Connectivity. These are the industry's first flexible Planar Inverted-F Antennas (PIFA) developed for Wi-Fi or Bluetooth applications mounted on non-conductive or irregular surfaces, despite humidity or hot/cold cycles (-40C to +85C).

The antennas are created to improve performance across a wide variety of environments, enclosures or even body-worn applications. The 2dBi FlexPIFA antenna is a super-small (40.1mm × 11mm × 2.5mm), single-band (2.4GHz) device providing 2dBi peak gain, linear polarisation, and 50W impedance, ideal for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth applications.

The 3dBi FlexPIFA antenna features dual-band (2.4/5.5GHz) performance in a 38.5mm × 12.7mm × 2.5mm form factor, with 3dBi peak gain and 50W impedance. This antenna is also ideally suited for Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n and Bluetooth applications and legacy Wi-Fi 802.11a applications.

The family of antennas provides robust performance and simple installation, making them an excellent solution for challenging IoT and harsh environment design applications.
