New toggle switch family offers high-quality switching

Würth Elektronik produces very high-quality toggle switches. Different versions of these user-friendly fast switches are now supplied under the name WS-TOTV. They are ESD compliant with IEC 61000-4-2 and have undertaken operating endurance testing under full load to demonstrate their durability (electrical life: 50,000 steps).

Toggle switches are generally employed to switch between functions on devices, which is why the company provides them with ON/OFF/ON and ON/ON switching functions. They are supplied for SPDT and DPDT schematics in horizontal and vertical versions. The switch current carrying capacity is 1A at a rated voltage of 30V. Their withstanding voltage extends to 500V, and operating temperature is from -40C to +85C. The frame complies with flammability class UL94 V-0.

Options include a locking ring as mechanical anti-twist protection for assembly in the 6.35mm panel cutout and caps in red or black. The company also supplies caps in any colour for larger orders.
