New IP rated waterproof speaker models announced

CUI Devices' Audio Group has introduced new IPX5, IPX7, and IPX8-rated speakers to its current line of IP67-rated waterproof speakers. Excellent for protection against moisture and liquid ingress in tough environments, the new CMS waterproof speaker models offer sound pressure levels from 85dB to 108dB and packages from 15mm up to 57mm with profiles as low as 2.5mm.

These waterproof speakers provide rectangular or round frame shapes, solder pad or spring contact mounting styles, and PEEK, PEI, or PET cone types. Constructed with Neodymium magnets, the IP-rated models carry resonant frequencies from 180Hz to 1200Hz, nominal inputs from 0.W8 to 3W, and impedance ratings of 4-Ohm or 8-Ohms.
