New connector series offers infinite possibilities

LEMO has announced the release of its new innovative MP Series – the progressive Modular Plastic Series, which complements the REDEL connector family.

The new series goes beyond traditional connectors by enabling customers to easily configure, design and build their own connector with unparalleled flexibility.

The new series features a wide range of standard power, signal, data, fibre optic and fluidic connectivity modules that can be combined into one hybrid connector.

The series also introduces high contact density modules, an innovation that uses the Card Edge concept to allow up to 144 contacts in a compact connector. These PCB modules can be further customised by integrating intelligence, such as an EEPROM.

The flexible and interchangeable design enables the customer to transition easily to a different configuration for future product generations without changing the connector footprint. Also, full cable assembly options are available.

This innovative product was developed to support various applications, including medical, test and measurement, security, industrial, and other demanding and evolving markets.
