Modular fuse blocks released that meet UL Class-T and ANL requirements

Bourns, Inc. has released its Riedon UL Class-T and ANL modular fuse blocks. The new devices address the protection requirements in a wide range of applications, including industrial power systems, battery chargers, solar inverters, and battery storage systems.

Four fuse block product types are now available from the company. The product types consist of the Model FB and CFB Series, which are Class-T fuse blocks that come provisioned with a Class-T fuse selectable up to 400A and offer two termination options, including bare wire and ring/spade connections. The other two types are the ANL fuse block Model NFB Series and the NFB2 Series, which are obtainable in two mounting base lengths with ring/spade connectivity and can be ordered with ANL fuses from 50A to 500A.

These are the first Riedon fuse blocks to be released by the company. Offering flexibility and modularity to adapt to various applications, the Model FB and CFB Class-T Series fuse blocks are constructed of high-quality materials, including tinned brass terminals, fibreglass reinforced polycarbonate mounting bases, clear polycarbonate safety covers and stainless-steel mounting hardware. Specifically, the compact 3.4" Model NFB Series fuse block features a base constructed of heavy-duty phenolic, whereas the Model NFB2 Series is 6.5" in length with a fibreglass-filled polycarbonate base. Moreover, the Model NFB and NFB2 Series ANL fuse blocks have a clear polycarbonate safety cover, stainless-steel connection, and mounting hardware that supplies extra product durability and operational life.
