New waveguide fixed attenuators satisfy the needs of millimetre-wave applications

05-08-2024 | Pasternack | Passives

Pasternack announces the launch of a new series of high-performance waveguide fixed attenuators designed specifically for millimetre-wave applications.

These precision attenuators provide outstanding attenuation accuracy and low VSWR across a wide frequency range. This makes them excellent for various tasks in the millimetre-wave spectrum, including power levelling, signal attenuation and use with test equipment.

These new attenuators' key features include waveguide sizes ranging from WR-10 to WR-28, attenuation levels from 3dB to 30dB, and a frequency range of up to 110GHz. They also incorporate UG-style cover flanges and can handle up to 5W of power.

“Our new waveguide fixed attenuators address the growing demand for reliable, accurate signal control in millimetre systems,” said product line manager Steven Pong. Our wide variety of waveguide sizes, attenuation levels, and UG cover flanges provides the flexibility to optimise millimetre-wave designs.”
