Mouser has released a new eBook in collaboration with Qorvo. It provides a detailed look at the connectivity requirements for smart homes and the different technologies used to support them.

In 'Next-Gen Connectivity for Smart Living', experts from the companies offer a deep dive into the technologies underpinning smart home connectivity, including Wi-Fi 7, ultra-wideband, and IoT standards like Zigbee, Thread, and Bluetooth Low Energy. The eBook features six articles, each comprising detailed infographics and links to relevant design tips from Qorvo.

Consumers worldwide have embraced the smart home movement, and the average number of connected devices in the home now exceeds 20. Consumers and device designers are now considering optimising the smart home ecosystem, bringing together dozens of devices in an efficient, reliable, secure network. Qorvo's device development and connectivity solutions enable manufacturers to improve their connected devices and smart home designs quickly.

The new eBook includes links to a dozen recommended the company's products, including the QPG6105 IoT development kit, the QM33120WDK1 development kit, the DW3000 transceivers, and the QM45639 5–7 GHz Wi-Fi 7 front-end module. Its components support a range of IoT applications, including smart home sensors, actuators, thermostats, and smart plugs.
