Mouser now ships the i.MX 93 applications processors from NXP Semiconductors. This family delivers efficient ML acceleration with advanced security to support energy-efficient automotive, edge computing, industrial automation, and consumer IoT applications.

These application processors deliver power-efficient acceleration with NXP's integrated EdgeLock secure enclave, a preconfigured, self-managed and autonomous security subsystem, to support energy-efficient ML and edge computing. The processors combine the scalable Arm Cortex-A55 core and the Arm Ethos-U65 microNPU, enabling developers to create more capable, cost-effective, and energy-efficient ML applications. A 250MHz Arm Cortex -M33 processor performs time-critical, real-time compute and control that can eradicate the necessity for an external MCU in the system design.

The application processors feature MIPI-CSI and parallel image sensor interfaces, along with the NPU, to support monochrome and RGB vision applications. NXP's innovative Energy Flex architecture provides a rich and power-efficient set of interfaces, including two 1GbE, multiple audio channels, and multiple display interfaces for a wide range of applications, including smart homes, smart cities, factory automation, and audio soundbars.
