Bel Fuse Inc. is releasing the 350DNG40-12-8, a second generation 4kW liquid cooled DC-DC converter in the Bel Power Solutions portfolio.

Operating from 240VDC to 450VDC input voltages, this converter delivers up to 4000W of output and can efficiently power low-voltage accessories in HEV and EVs. It is built with full galvanic isolation between input and output and embedded with a range of protection features that allow dynamic flexibility with load or input changes, providing high reliability in unpredictable environments.

The converter features a CAN bus serial interface and IP ratings IP67 and IP6k9k, making it ideal for applications, such as construction equipment, underground mining applications, on and off-highway vehicles, and marine equipment.

It also provides extra optional Unified Diagnostic Services (UDS) functionality, including CAN FD and cyber security. After a comprehensive performance assessment, this product has acquired the e-Mark Certification to comply with ECE regulations.

"Our new converter sets a new benchmark in power solutions for hybrid and electric vehicles with its advanced design, high reliability, and flexibility, ideal for demanding industries like construction, mining, and marine applications," said Frank Vondenhoff, director eMobility, Product and Business Development. "With features like CAN bus integration and enhanced security options, we're helping meet the evolving needs of manufacturers and operators while maintaining strict regulatory compliance."
