New WLAN thermometer for IoT delivers high reliability

02-12-2024 | Wiesemann & Theis | Test & Measurement

Wiesemann & Theis now offers a WLAN Thermometer for measuring and reporting temperature data via WLAN, sending MQTT messages, push notifications to smartphones and data as required to the W&T cloud.

The established range now features the first WLAN component: The WLAN Thermometer 1x Pt100 works as reliably as the other models but is also wireless. The included Pt100 Class A cable sensor provides a measuring range of -50C to 180C. With appropriate Pt100 sensors, temperatures from -200C to 650C can also be recorded.

It can send MQTT messages for individually configurable events such as temperature overshooting or undershooting and push messages to smartphones via ntfy.sh. Thanks to its high immunity to interference, DIN rail mounting and 24V supply, it is ideal for temperature monitoring in industrial environments. Temperature data can be monitored in a browser from anywhere and transferred to the W&T Cloud for secure storage.
