IP66 plastic enclosures now offered with more accessories

ROLEC’s technoBOX plastic enclosures can now be specified with accessories, including front plates, hinges, case feet, mounting plates, supporting rails, cable glands, and external mounting brackets (that can be rotated by 90°).

The enclosure is smart and robust and the company’s most cost-effective plastic enclosure. It is excellent for various industrial electronics applications, delivering dependable protection at an attractive price point. The housings can be mounted on walls, bulkheads, machines and desks.

The versatile enclosure has an attractive bevelled lid recessed to accommodate a membrane keypad, front plate or product label. It is fastened with corrosion-resistant stainless steel captive screws. The O-ring gasket is chloroprene (CR). Inside the enclosure, threaded screw bosses in the lid and base can be used to install PCBs, mounting plates and terminal rails.

The company manufactures technoBOX in ten sizes ranging from 51mm x 66mm x 35mm to 161mm x 241mm x 80mm. The enclosures are moulded from tough and long-lasting ABS (UL 94 HB) in light grey (RAL 7035) as standard.

The company can supply the enclosure fully customised and ready for the electronics installation. Customisation services include CNC machining, custom colours, printing/engraving of legends and logos, EMC shielding, special materials and assembly.
