BAUMER offers its ’50 Series’ unique benefits for applications requiring pressure, temperature or conductivity sensing, or perhaps a combination of these critical measurement and monitoring functions. The sensors included in the new series will allow users to attain process automation goals by delivering best-in-class performance, ensuring maximum efficiency and sustainability.

This range of sensors comprises the PP56H/PP56, a high-precision pressure sensor with a flush membrane and touchscreen, the PT55H/PT55 ultra-compact RTD temperature sensor with a wide measuring range and the PAC50H/PAC50S conductivity sensor with an exceptionally fast response time.

When a process application demands measuring pressure precisely and reliably across various media, the PP56H and PP56 sensors are regarded as ‘best-in-class’ by combining precise and active temperature compensation. This indicates they are excellent for demanding hygienic and other similar industrial applications, such as hydrostatic level detection, pressure monitoring and measurement.

The sensors are ideal if an application would benefit from an ultra-compact RTD fast and reliable temperature sensor with a large measuring range. These sensors feature the largest measuring range in their class (-50C to 250C) and provide extremely fast response times when installed in parallel. Whether for process temperature monitoring in food and pharmaceutical plants, for cooling circuit control in machines or for temperature measurement in industrial water treatment plants, the PT55 sensors are the ideal match.

For conductivity sensing applications which would benefit from extremely fast and precise media detection, the PAC50H and PAC50S sensors are ideal. This sensor has the quickest response time in its class of (15 seconds) together with very high accuracy. These food-safety sensors feature an ultra-compact, one-piece hygienic design, with wetted parts made of PEEK and have certification in accordance with all current food safety standards, so they are also ideal for hygienic, pharmaceutical and other similar applications.

All three sensors in the series provide the same sensor head along with the unique and simple operating concept via touchscreen, which means the operation is the same for all three sensors, so simplifies configuration, integration and operation.
