Bourns, Inc. has announced its new Model SRR6838A Series Shielded Power Inductors. Bourns’ new AEC-Q200 compliant, automotive-grade power inductors give designers of high-reliability consumer, industrial and telecom applications an expanded range of inductive options.

Designed with a ferrite core and ferrite shield that produces low magnetic field radiation, the advanced features of the company’s new power inductors make them a superior power conversion solution for applications that require operation in low-noise environments, such as automotive driver assistant, infotainment, and lighting systems. Also, the Model SRR6838A Series provides exceptional inductance and heating current capabilities, featuring an inductance range of 100μH and a heating current of 6.8A. These shielded inductors also offer a wide operating temperature range of -55C to +150C.

Bourns Model SRR6838A Shielded Power Inductor Series is available now and is RoHS-compliant and halogen-free.
