Development kit enables rapid prototyping of wireless devices

Mouser Electronics, Inc. now supplies the nRF54L15-DK development kit from Nordic Semiconductor. The dev kit is a pre-certified single-board evaluation and prototyping platform based on Nordic's new nRF54L BLE SoC. With support for the full suite of BLE features and other popular communications protocols, the dev kit is an ideal solution for various wireless applications, including IIoT, AR/VR, asset tracking, smart home products, and medical applications.

With the onboard NRF54L SoC, the dev kit supports BLE, Bluetooth Mesh, Thread, Zigbee, 2.4GHz proprietary protocols (up to 4Mbps), and Matter. Matter is an industry-unifying, IP-based connectivity protocol that streamlines building IoT applications while permitting seamless integration into various ecosystems for industrial automation, consumer electronics, smart agriculture, and more.

The dev kit is supported by a comprehensive set of nRF Connect tools and has support in the nRF Connect SDK. Developers can explore the full potential of the nRF54L15 SoC using the extensive range of software samples, modules, and libraries available within the nRF Connect SDK.

The nRF54L15-DK also features 8MB of external memory, an onboard nPM1300 PMIC, 2.4GHz and NFC antennas, a SEGGER J-Link OB programmer/debugger and a USB connection for debugging, programming, and power. Pins are available for measuring power consumption, and an SWF RF connector allows direct RF measurements.
