New power supply with IO-Link interface and integrated display

PULS has announced its new 480W DIN-rail power supply CP20.248-IOL with IO-Link interface and integrated display.

The CP20.248-IOL offers a high-reliability 24 VDC power supply and provides efficient and time-saving configuration, operation monitoring and remote control. Using the built-in IO-Link and the front panel display, user-defined power supply and application data, such as the AC and DC quality of the system, can be monitored in real-time, allowing any operating changes needed to be made to the system in good time. The power supply can also be switched on and off remotely.

The combination of the IO-Link communication interface and display offers high flexibility. Remote-controlled automation operations via IO-Link and on-site analysis by a technician are simple and quick to implement.

Technologically, the device is based on the proven DIMENSION CP20 series, which has sold millions of units. Popular features such as permanent 20% BonusPower at temperatures up to 45C, active PFC and electronic inrush current limitation have been retained. The power supply is also very energy-efficient, with a peak efficiency of 95.5% and emitting only minimal power losses.

Despite the extra communication features, the slim design has been maintained with a width of only 48mm. The power supply fits perfectly into confined control cabinets and, thanks to its low weight of 835g, puts only minimal stress on the DIN rail.
