Automotive-grade pulse withstanding chip resistor offers high reliability

13-12-2022 | Stackpole | Power

High-reliability chip resistors are difficult to source and more so when there are pulse handling needs. Generally, the manufacturing process for thick film chip resistors permits variation in the calibration trim, leading to variation in pulse handling performance.

Stackpole’s recently launched RPCA series satisfies all these demands. The series has limited to no calibration trim, delivering reliable and repeatable pulse handling behaviour. They are fully AEC-Q200 compliant, ensuring a high long-term reliability level.

Typical applications fields include switching power supplies, motor controls, defibrillators, thermostats and oven controls, electric hand tools, small appliances, welding equipment, and industrial equipment.
