Intepro Systems offers the availability of Cinergia’s B2C+ Bi-Directional DC Converter, revolutionising DC Test Platform Efficiency and Flexibility. This advanced converter provides unmatched efficiency, multichannel flexibility and high-resolution dynamics, making it an excellent solution for a wide range of DC test platform applications.

“The B2C+ represents a significant leap forward in bi-directional DC converter technology,” said Joe Engler, president of Intepro Systems. “Its exceptional performance and versatility empower engineers to conduct comprehensive testing across diverse applications, including renewable energy sources, energy storage systems, smart grids, battery testing, electric vehicles, and more.”

The converter delivers a unique combination of features that redefines test expectations:

The device can source and sink power, allowing for efficient testing of devices that generate or consume DC power. Also, its regenerative capability returns excess power to the grid, minimising energy waste.

With a THDi of less than 3% and a PF exceeding 0.98, the device ensures minimal impact on the power grid.

The converter is available in 13 models ranging from 7.5kW to 160kW, and it can be paralleled to increase total power output. Users can choose from two-quadrant and four-quadrant configurations to suit their testing needs.

The converter supports various operating modes (CV, CC, CP, CR) for comprehensive device characterisation. It also provides optional functionalities like battery emulation, PV panel emulation, and a power amplifier mode for HiL applications.

The converter features a user-friendly interface that simplifies test setup and operation. It also supports Modbus/Ethernet open protocols and LabVIEW drivers for seamless integration into existing test environments.
